The Ninth Doctor was my first Doctor. I’m the type who has to watch an entire series from the beginning no matter what. I don’t settle for catching any random episode of any show (non linear shows included).
But in the case of Doctor Who, I counted the new and classic series as two separate shows.
So my mind was plenty at ease when I started the 697th episode. Chris Eccleston did a positively fantastic (ah! I said the thing!) job at totally selling me on both the series, and the character. I enjoyed him every second he was on screen. The idea that “fans” skip him is more of a tragedy than the fact that he won’t be back for the Fiftieth.
Are you my mummy?
Four of my twenty-five silkscreen prints of the Ninth Doctor. I was told that 5 of my 10 final prints had to be different; so I wrote on a few of them, messed with the printing process. I even got one that looked like it was dematerializing! So yeah. These are some of the best prints I made.
Everybody lives, Rose. Just this once. Everybody lives!
